HILCO TO SELL GM/TOYOTA NUMMI PLANT

Hilco Industrial Awarded Contract to Sell NUMMI Plant Assets.
 
Hilco Industrial, LLC, announces it has been engaged to sell the machinery, equipment and inventory assets in the 5.2 million square foot New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI) plant, located in Fremont, CA. 
 
NUMMI is the joint venture of General Motors Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation. Established in Fremont, California, in 1984, NUMMI helped change the automobile industry by introducing the Toyota Production System and a teamwork-based working environment to the United States. The NUMMI facility produces approximately 250,000 cars and 170,000 trucks, annually.
 
Hilco will conduct a combination on-site and Webcast auction event designed to attract prospective buyers from around the world. The auction date has not been announced.
