- Inventory imbalance relative to sales
- Excessive discounts or margin dilutions
- Drop in fulfillment rate or customer satisfaction
Lagging Indicators
- Sales trend TY vs LY or TY vs Plan
- Change in gross margin percentage
- Operating losses
- Increased borrowing to fund operating losses or trade payables
- Shift in inventory aging
