Experienced Leadership
Arnie Dratt Arnie is a seasoned workout consultant/crisis manager. He has developed and executed restructuring plans, has sold companies to strategic buyers, and has closed obsolete plants throughout North America and Europe. He has managed more than 250 engagements across many industries, including automotive, and has more than 15 years of asset disposition experience.
Inventory Specialists
Automotive inventory appraisals are managed by Keith Spacapan. Keith has more than 20 years of automotive industry experience, including 15 years with General Motors as a divisional director of operations and finance. He has also worked with a wide range of automotive suppliers. His unique dual perspective—automotive OE and tier supplier sides—fosters a full understanding of the dynamics which impact asset value.
When inventory includes metals, Mike Sullivan is pressed into service. Michael has over twenty years of metals industry experience. He has extensive experience in product development, toll processing, cold rolled strip steel, scheduling and inventory control. His exposure to the market-driven complexities of the metals industry provides a strong foundation for managing Hilco’s metals inventory appraisal team.
Machinery and Equipment Specialists
Automotive machinery and equipment appraisals are conducted under the leadership of Jack Washbourn and Steve Feldman. These two veteran appraisers have a combined 60 years of experience in valuing M&E, much of which has been in the automotive sector. Jack is headquartered in the Detroit area, Steve in Chicago, and both are AMEA certified equipment appraisers.
To assure our values reflect the realities of current market conditions, we draw on recent liquidation data provided by M&E disposition specialists Robert Levy and Steve Wolf, and the team at Hilco Industrial. To facilitate this process, Hilco Appraisal Services and Hilco Industrial have developed and integrated their information gathering and reporting systems.
Real Estate Specialists
Consider the time-saving benefits of coordinating real estate valuations with inventory and M&E appraisals. Todd Haney and Hilco’s real estate appraisal group are experienced in valuing automotive-related manufacturing and distribution properties and leaseholds.
